    观而后止

        昨天在一个朋友家翻一本中文书,忽然觉得字里行间竟飘渺出无端的似曾相识,倒回去,原来是余先生;文化苦旅,只不过舍了那个“苦”字,重新纂了本中国之旅而已。其实对“苦”这个字,多年前我是抱着敬畏仰视的,一来历史的积淀和挥发、断层和绵延本就有弥散不尽的忧郁,再者从遗留的文物和文字中追溯不可逆必然是艰辛的。

        我一直有一种本能的容量限制,就是某段时间大脑接收大量信息之后会达到一个饱和点,再下去的东西便只能徒增疲劳而已。所以余先生的东西看多了,我会累。有时候很有意思,这就像如果某天一直听某位灵魂歌手吟唱,会有一种飘忽的脚尖无法触地的倦怠。这种疲惫在我看来没有延续的必要,因而看书或是旅行,有些背景是可以忽略的,也许取决于容量,也许取决于眼光。眼光无所谓高低,切入点不同而已。文人学者们习惯凝眉于冗繁的历史长卷;我们这些偶然涉足的过客,有造诣或者没造诣的,何必在一片浩渺中自寻烦恼?所以我总只是调调光圈按按快门。

        感触太多,便失了真的感触。那些看似流畅的思绪也只是光束下被扬起的粉尘,同一个模子的清高、哀伤、自欺欺人。可以经年的阅历才是真感触。

        西湖,你印象最深的是哪里?我只单单极清晰地记得碑上二字——“虫二”,风月无边。有种奇妙的东西叫做通感,无论文字图画音乐都可以刻上一个大大的“同理可得”。入于目,遁去形,止于心;偶尔跃然纸上,也是一件很快乐的事情。
